This home had an outdated internal entry/foyer with dark aluminium framing, mismatched finishes, and bulky brick steps that made the space feel closed off and dated.
The transition between levels wasn't inviting, and the overall entry lacked the clean, modern feel the homeowners were after.
The existing entry structure was stripped back, including demolition of the old brick stairs to allow for a clean, properly integrated rebuild.
Custom sliding doors and fixed panels were installed, combining painted framing with frosted glass to maintain privacy while letting light move through the space.
New stairs were constructed using solid Jarrah timber, sourced locally from Creative Timbers Toowoomba. The timber was dressed, prepared, and finished onsite to suit the space and achieve a consistent, high-quality result.
All elements were installed to align cleanly with existing levels, trims, and surrounding finishes.
The result is a clean, modern entry that feels open, bright, and intentional.
The custom doors create separation without closing the space off, while the Jarrah stairs add warmth and a high-end finish that ties everything together.
